Make monitoring part of the handoff

The installation
is finished.
Your customer is just getting started.

Help new off-grid owners understand their battery reserve, recognize heavy demand, and build habits for cloudy days. Stay involved while they learn—with their permission.

For supported independent power systems, fully off-grid or working toward energy neutrality.

The learning starts at home

Good equipment. New habits.

A well-designed system still has limits. Help the household recognize them in the moments that matter.

A clearer conversation after commissioning

Keep helping.
Keep the owner in control.

Ungrid for Installers brings customer monitoring into your service workflow. Help owners interpret changing reserve, review alert coverage, and learn what can run now—and what can wait.

Build your customer handoff
Support the first few weeks
With permission, receive the customer’s Low Battery Alert, Critical Battery Alert, and critical recovery confirmation by email. Agree together on when you are available.
Give support conversations a starting point
Use the customer’s monitoring context to discuss reserve, connectivity, and changing needs across your supported installations.
Make ownership clear
The owner controls billing and plan choices. They can stop installer alert emails or revoke installer access.

Ungrid Care

Offer ongoing care under your company's name.

Ungrid Care provided by your company combines Ungrid Pro monitoring with your team's ongoing attention. Watch for alerts, investigate issues, and help homeowners understand what needs attention. Agree on your service hours and the help you provide directly with each homeowner.

Set a company price

Set a monthly price for each customer, based on their systems and the service you offer. Ungrid's software allocation starts at $9.99 per month for two systems and three homeowner notification recipients. Each additional system or recipient adds $2 per month. Set a customer price above that software allocation. Your company's service allocation is the customer price minus that software allocation, before applicable costs and adjustments.

Keep delivery choices with each operator

Your operators share the company's alert workflow. They do not use the homeowner's recipient allowance. Each operator chooses their delivery channels and quiet hours, including nights and weekends. SMS requires that operator's consent.

Include the first months with an installation

Offer one to twelve included months of Care with a new installation. Your company prepays Ungrid's software allocation for those months; the homeowner pays $0 for Care during the included period. Show the future monthly price when making the offer. Continuing on a paid basis requires the homeowner's separate agreement.

A relationship with room to grow

Customer value first.
A business reason to stay involved.

30% of direct Pro referral collections

Earn 30% of eligible subscription collections from direct Pro referrals you originate, for the lifetime of each valid attributed subscription. Care has no additional referral commission. Your hardware and labor revenue stays yours.

Payout transfers are not available yet. A 45-day hold and $50 payout threshold apply; eligibility is not a scheduled payment.

How revenue share works

Commission is based on subscription payments actually collected from direct Pro referrals after discounts and credits, excluding tax. Care, free periods, refunded or charged-back amounts, hardware, installation labor, and unrelated products do not earn commission. Ordinary payment-processing fees do not reduce the commission base.

For example, $100 in eligible subscription collections earns $30 before any later refund or dispute adjustment. Refunds and disputes can reduce or reverse commission.

Monthly settlement is planned once payouts are enabled; smaller balances carry forward. These program terms do not promise a payment date.

Be part of the installer network

People planning an independent power system can request an installer introduction. Share the equipment and areas you serve so Ungrid can review requests against customer needs and local availability.

An introduction request does not guarantee a match, lead volume, a quoted project, or a job. You and the customer agree directly on installation and service scope and price.

Ungrid provides read-only monitoring and guidance. Checks are periodic and depend on available data and connectivity. Ungrid does not control equipment or replace installed protection systems and the customer’s backup plan.
